$25 February 2013 #Giveaway — 89 Comments

  1. My biggest challenge is getting the chance to sit down and pay my bills and getting them in on time.

  2. My biggest challenge is actually sticking to a budget and not spending money on a ton of crap.

  3. I would say my biggest struggle would probably be combining my finances with someone else and trying to stick to a budget that works for both of us!

  4. My biggest hurdle is saving. It is so hard to save when life is so unpredictable. One day you save for say a refrigerator, and the next day your car needs an expensive repair. You know what I mean?

  5. biggest hurdle is the budgeting – i chose to work part time and my husband works full time but we really have to watch our finances to accomplish this

  6. It seems just when you think there’s enough money coming in everything goes up except your paycheck, and once you get it figured out again something breaks down.

  7. My hubby is a spender. he only spends $5 here and there, small amounts that add up too easily to BIG $$

  8. Nickle and diming… spending $5 on a coffee here and there and then wondering where it all went.

  9. Trying to pay down debt when costs keep going up and unexpected expenses often rear their ugly heads!

  10. well the biggest hurdle that i have experienced is trying to save for my baby’s needs but too bad, i don’t have a regular job yet. to be able to afford his expensive milk, etc., i have to rely on my parents & my partner’s parents. i’m still lucky that i’m a contractual employee now. to master the art of saving means goodbye to your wants and impulses. there is a need to focus on more important things and be budget-wise when spending. thanks for this giveaway and goodluck to the winner 😉

  11. I struggled in my late teens, early 20s, low paying jobs of course! No worries now! Im 31 and have no stress about money, lots of savings, can live comfortably for life without worrying. The KEY is: Once you get to the point you are making better money, live below your means for awhile. (at least 5 years). Youll start seeing big savings and have more freedom without having to live paycheck to paycheck!

  12. Our struggle is a limited income, since I only work a little from home while staying home with our boys.

  13. My problem is, just as soon as we seem to get a bit ahead, something bad happens- either the roof needs repair, or the cat gets sick, it’s always something.

  14. My biggest struggle with finances is building credit. As a college student I don’t have a significant credit history

  15. My biggest challenge right now is making up for an unexpected move and paying double rent. :-/

  16. My biggest struggle is trying to convince my husband to save money instead of blowing it on things we don’t even have room for in our house!

  17. My biggest struggle would be staying ontop of bills always trying to keep up with all of them. and putting money aside lol.

  18. Our biggest hurdle is the fact that we only have one income but one of us that isn’t me has no idea what ‘thrifty’ means.

  19. Struggling to save to fix the car, got used up when the a/c gave up and we had to buy a new one.

  20. My biggest hurdle is staying within my budget. Thank you for the fantastic giveaway.

  21. Because my husband owns his own business, our biggest struggle is budgeting on an unknown upcoming income. ITs hard to know how much to save and how much to sink into trying to get debt paid off

  22. For me, it’s reestablishing my emergency fund after being out of work for 10 months. I’m really glad I had it though!! Got me through!

  23. Trying to teach my daughter how to budget HER money. (My husband and I go by the “if you can’t afford to pay for it now, don’t buy it now” strategy. Well, except for mortgage, obviously. Doesn’t make us the most FUN parents. Well, too bad.

  24. It just became being able to afford food and heat now that my husband has lost unemployment benefits as well as a job. My business is just too slow for me to cover all the expenses right now.

  25. shopping sales and spending more then I need or buying thing I don’t need because they are on sale.
