Last month, our Net Worth increased by $1,192.40. That was pretty awesome, it’s about 200 bucks lower this month, at $993.71, but I’m not complaining. I knew it would slowly get better if we kept working on it.
Emergency Fund: Up $188.69! We met the goal for this account, at least for now. 😉 Now we’re working on filling up our other 2 accounts to finish of one of our financial goals for this year. Yay!
Savings: Up $312.61. We’re currently working on our 3rd account, the one at the credit union. I picked this account to do next because it has a larger APY than the BOA account. Once the credit union is filled (to $1,000) then I move to BOA, and when finished transfer the money to Operation SUV or Operation Italy, still not sure. Then on to another of our financial goals.
401K: Up $206.50. I’m fairly confident we’ve contributed more than this over the last month. Oh well, I guess we’re buying at a lower price. It’s all about the long-term baby. It’s looking better than it did last month, but maybe that’s not so good.
Betterment: Up $19.51. Really it’s down though, because I put 20 bucks in there this month. It’s okay, I know, think long-term.
Roth IRA’s: Up $60.03. Did you notice it says “IRA’s” now? That’s because I still have the old lame one and opened up the new one. The 3¢ is from interest on the old one; currently at $41.48. The 60 bucks is how much I’ve contributed to the new one so far, it’s not actually enough to really choose investments yet—all in good time.
Pirates Gold: No change here
Car: Up $130.00.? I just don’t seem to understand this sometimes. I understand when the value drops, that’s reasonable, but increases are just spooky. It does make the Net Worth look nice so I guess I should stop complaining.
Evil Credit Card: Down $76.37. We didn’t really do that well with this one last month, although it’s better than an increase. Our minimum payment is $64 each month, so we did pay a tiny bit extra. Next month should be better.
So, how did your Net Worth turn out this month?
Congratulations on your increase. I love the sound of ‘Operation Italy’….we have our own ‘Operation Portugal’ going on.
Just found your site and looking forward to reading more (and catching up!)
