Notes: We ended this pay period with $2.27 left-over, usually I would transfer this to savings but this time I’m just going to keep it in our checking account. Not to add with the new check, but to forget about to create a small buffer.

I’m kind of ashamed of my saving this week and really need to do better next time. I’m still spending more on groceries than usual and the dining out really was upsetting.

I spent almost 30 bucks on groceries Thursday night and still need to go back after we get paid—stuff is really expensive lately. I’m going to finally try out a couple recipes, hopefully they will go well.

How did your budgeting/spending go this week? Any trouble areas?

  1. Hm, I hadn’t thought of breaking my spending out on a weekly basis like that. Might be interesting to do. I’m on track for the month though.

    • Tracking our spending weekly seems to be what works best for me. Great job on being on track for this month. :-) I was hoping to be able to save more this month than I have so far.
