Either this is really new, or I haven’t been paying any attention lately. So, Swagbucks used to have just one PayPal option for cashing out, a $5 transfer to your PayPal account. But now, they have $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100 options.
I usually cash out when I have 700 Swagbucks, which is enough for a $5 transfer to my PayPal account. Now, I just might wait a bit longer to maximize my Swagbucks. Here’s how it works out:
$5 PayPal for 700 (700 for $5)
$10 PayPal for 1,335 (667.5 for $5)
$25 PayPal for 3,215 (643 for $5)
$50 PayPal for 6,330 (633 for $5)
$100 PayPal for 12,549 (627.5 for $5)
If you were to over time, cash out 20 of the $5 PayPal transfers, that would cost you 14,000 Swagbucks. But if you held out, you could get (1) $100 PayPal + (1) $10 PayPal transfer and still have 116 more Swagbucks left-over. Just an example about how holding out can reap rewards.
Really, there isn’t much of a difference between the $50 & $100 PayPal transfers. I’ll start trying to hold out for the $50 one, which will be really hard since I am so d@mn impatient.
If you haven’t earned your 1st prize yet at Swagbucks and are going for the PayPal transfers, it might be best to get the $5 PayPal transfer for your first prize. That way, you will know that you really do get paid and it will be more encouraging.
