2011 Financial Goals

Last year, I was one short of reaching the financial goals I set for us. This year, I am going to work extra hard to achieve all of them.

*Paying off the MasterCard, my left-over goal from last year, so this will be the first one I work toward.

*Donate at least $1,000 worth of items I could totally achieve this with the use of coupons and store sales. I would also like to include toys for Christmas-time again.

*Save $1,000 in each of our banks (4) We have 4 banks, and I need to get $1,000 in each one. $4,000 is a ton of money to us, but if we really work hard, it just might be possible.

*Save 1 months worth of rent & bills You never know what’s going to happen, so it would be nice to have a bit of a buffer.

*Start cooking and meal planning to save money and our health I just don’t really cook very often. I hate the big mess and having to spend lots of time in the kitchen. I am going to start out with 1 dinner a week until I can build up some momentum.

So, what are your new financial goals for 2011? How do plan to achieve them?
