Notes: Yeah, I know I should have saved a ton of money this paycheck. But, I’ve been waiting forever to get a lot of household items since the checks have been small. I’m so happy that I was finally able to get everything. :-) I was also able to get some new socks, YAY! The grocery spending was a bit more than I’d have liked, but there’s not much I can do about that until I review our grocery receipts (which I’m supposed to do before April is over).

We still have a good amount left, so hopefully we’ll be able to save some. We have to go get new car tags today, hopefully we won’t have to do the emissions inspection or buy new plates. Why do they even have you get new plates every couple of years anyway? My guess is so that they can make more money off of everybody. Anybody know??? I hope you all had a great week with your finances. :-)

How did your budgeting/spending go this week?

  1. I think this is so cool how you break down the specifics of your budget for all to see. I bet this holds you accountable on so many things! Way to go!

    • Thanks John. :-) It really does make me think twice about wasting money because I know I’ll be getting called out on it.
