It’s time to check back in on the goals I set for March 2012.
#1 Get my Alexa ranking under 100,000- FAIL (As of April 1st, it was 104,802—which is still awesome. Thanks to everybody using the Alexa toolbar. )
#2 Contribute at least $50.00 to our Roth IRA– PASS (exactly 50 bucks again)
#3 Set up an automatic transfer to save for Christmas 2012– PASS (I set up daily transfers for $1 each weekday.)
#4 Replace at least $20 of the money I borrowed to pay for FinCon12– FAIL (I didn’t replace anything at all this month.)
#5 Have 240 followers on Twitter- PASS (As of April 1st, I have 244 followers. Thanks everybody. )
#6 Finally pay off the Evil Credit Card– PASS (Just waiting for the next statement to make sure they didn’t do anything tricky.)
#7 Leave at least an average of 6 comments per day this month (186 for the month)- FAIL (I was 50 comments shy, I only left 136 this last month.)
#8 Officially launch my new blog- FAIL (Nope, more on that later.)
#9 Tweet at least 10 great posts I find on other blogs- FAIL (I was a few short.)
#10 Retweet at least 10 tweets I like- PASS (More than 10.)
#11 Stick to my new blogging schedule- PASS (With the exception of my post asking for votes, which wasn’t a real post anyways.)
#12 Find out when my auto-renewal for magazines goes down- PASS (Last year, I signed up on May 14th. I’ll wait a couple weeks and then cancel.)
#13 Lose 7 pounds this month- FAIL (Big @ss fail, oh my goodness. Not only did I not lose 7 pounds, but I gained a pound. That sucks, but March just wasn’t my month. April should go much better.)
#14 Get in at least 15 workouts- FAIL (I only got in 9 workouts and those were at the beginning of the month.)
#15 Read 3 or more books this month to stay on track for one of my 2012 goals– FAIL In March, I read:
#16 Drink at least four 16.9 oz bottles of water 25/31 days this month FAIL (Not even close; I didn’t really keep very good track of it this month, but I probably only got 7 days.)
#17 Make a grooming appointment for Roxy PASS
How did you do on your goals?
I think you’re doing good. You’re almost below 100K, so close!
I’m trying to retweet more as well. I keep forgetting!
I’m worse with remembering to tweet great articles. I’ll read them and think how awesome they are and not even remember to share them. Maybe I should make a note on a post-it…
You’re doing great! yous sooo close to 100K. I need to start being more active on Twitter – I tweet frequently but I wouldn’t say that it’s particularly useful.
Thanks Daisy. I’m so bad about using twitter, really I just suck. I barely tweet anything because I’m thinking, “who cares?” I don’t really think I have anything interesting to say, so I end up saying nothing at all.
