You might remember one of my recent posts, “Saving at the Liquor Store.”
Sometimes, not all the efforts we make to save money actually turn out how we expect. I figured it would save us money to buy 8 bottles of alcohol for so little after considering the rebate. Nope, not really.
Granted we got a good deal, but it didn’t last as long as anticipated. We still have some left, don’t get me wrong.
Apparently, having such an abundance of alcohol around wasn’t such a good idea. It just ended up being consumed quicker. It was sort of like having a big plate of really yummy cookies on the table, you know they are there and plentiful.
It was a good lesson, spendy, but good. If we don’t learn from our mistakes, then we will never grow. Now in the future I will know that we never need to buy that much at once.
