Today is my 1-year blogiversary and I’m so excited. When I started out a year ago, my intent was to have a blog about all the bazillion ways people can save money. Finally, I pulled my head outta my a$$ and realized there was no way I could encompass everything and still have a life.

Slowly I started noticing the area I was most passionate about and BAM! Personal finance is what stirs my butterflies and I freakin’ love it. That doesn’t mean I’m a pro by any means, just that I love learning about it, trying my best to excel in it and try to recover from my screw-ups along the way.

Giveaway Ends: Sunday August 14th @ 8:00 pm PST

Winners will be announced Monday the 15th and must respond within 48 hours. If they fail to respond, a new winner will be chosen. Winners will be chosen using random.org.

1) Subscribe to either my RSS feed or Email Subscription (top right of page). Don’t forget to confirm the email they send you after signing up for the email subscription. Also, don’t forget to leave a comment saying you did it. This entitles you to an extra entry each day until the end of the giveaway; just leave a comment like: I signed up for your feed on Monday, and that’s it.

  21. I don’t want to see coupon match-ups here. There a plenty of blogs where that is the primary purpose. Couponing is A LOT of work, and I dont believe its the purpose of this blog. I would like to see ideas on small ways to save big.

  256. Every site has coupon deals.. How about Cheap date nights even at home with the family? I know we are on a tight budget and could use some great idea’s! Right now it’s normally a buffet and a few drinks where I work!! lol I am a bartender and I get a chip for my after work drink which normally is what we use when we have “date night” lol
