Tell Me How To Spend My Money #2

Tell me how to spend my money Yep, that’s right—I’m doing it again. It was fun last time. :-) So this time, instead of having left-over money after paying our car insurance, I’m going to set aside 50 bucks out of the next paycheck.

Last time, you guys made me be all responsible and use it to pay down the Evil Credit Card. So it got me curious about what you guys would choose if I didn’t have the credit card as an option.

Please leave your votes in the comments section and just 1 vote per person—keeps things simple. You can choose for me to use it all toward one option or split it up between 2 or more, here we go:

Option #1  Betterment

Option#2  Savings

Option #3 Roth IRA <—– Winner

Option #4 Travel Fund

Option #5 Christmas

You can vote from now until Thursday, October 20th & I’ll apply the money to it the next day (payday) on the 21st. Happy voting. :-)

  1. I have to vote for the ROTH IRA. Hands down, no question about, you won’t be sorry.. :) (Not that you should do this, but if you needed to withdraw from your ROTH IRA, you can withdraw your contributions later, at any time and with no penalties).

  2. Thanks for doing this again. :-) I don’t know anything about Betterment funds. That said, my vote is for #3 and #5 unless you already have money set aside for Christmas. If you do, my vote is solely #3.

    • No problem Sylvia; I think it’s fun too. :-) Yeah, we haven’t really set anything aside yet—I know that I should be, it’s not like Christmas jumps out and surprises us every year. hehe. Okay so split it between #3 (Roth IRA) and #5 (X-mas). Thanks for voting Sylvia.

    • :-) Unfortunately, my birthday is going to cost a lot more than that this year. Husband has something planned, I’ll be posting about it soon. $$$$$$ Thanks Shannon.

  3. I’m late, but TRAVEL FUND!!! (that can be my answer for the next one 😉 also be sure to update your “hello bar” up there at the top once you do it – I tend to forget all about it on my site! haha…)

    • Thanks, I totally forgot about the “hello bar,” silly me. I’m actually throwing up another one tomorrow, I’ll have to fix the “hello bar” after I post it. :-)

Our travel fund really needs to beef up so that we can go to Europe next year.
