Jen’s Sexy Lust List

For hours and hours yesterday, I couldn’t figure out what today’s post should be about. I just couldn’t find it in me to write something up, I don’t know why…it just happened that way.

So I screwed off while trying to come up with a post idea, unsuccessfully I might add. 😉

So instead, I decided to do a post about the various items I’m currently lusting after. That way, later on (assuming I don’t end up buying them or get), I can laugh about how I no longer want them.

Sounds okay, right?

Lust List Item #1

The Walking Dead season 2 on blu-ray

Okay, I’m totally in-love with AMC’s The Walking Dead series. It’s no secret that I love zombie movies, they’re just the coolest thing ever. I already own season 1 of The Walking Dead series on blu-ray and have probably watched it like 77 times.

I don’t usually have a problem with buying stuff that I know I’ll use over and over again, so this one will most likely be aquired soon…I hope.

swimming pool lust

Lust List Item #2

A sexy swimming pool in the backyard of our first house. Yes, I’m perfectly aware that we don’t yet own the house, but still…a girl can dream.

I’ve always wanted to have my own swimming pool, where I could swim for hours every single day. This is would cost way, way more than we could probably ever afford, but that’s okay…this is a lust list after all.

I would prefer to have one of those pools that looks like a natural lagoon with a waterfall with a little grotto hidden behind it. Honestly though, I’d just be happy to have a built-in pool.

If I had a pool, I would either need an inflatable crocodile (never had one as a kid) or one of those chairs with a drink holder. That way, I could swim for like 4 hours, then float around the pool getting wasted off margaritas. 😉

ninja training lust

Lust List Item #3

Ninja lessons. I have no idea where one could actually get real ninja lessons or how much it would cost. But this week, I have decided that I would like to be a ninja.

washer dryer lust

Lust List Item #4

LG Front-load Washer & Dryer (electric) set in cherry red.

I know they are really expensive, but they are energy efficient  :-) Plus, the red would look so nice with the wood floors in the new house and it would make doing laundry more fun. The house we’re buying doesn’t come with a washer and dryer, so we’re on our own.

europe trip lust

Lust List Item #5

My Europe Trip. It seems like each year, my trip to Europe keeps getting pushed back again and again.

I’m going to die if I don’t go. I’ve never even left the US before, it’s awful. Must. Visit. Europe.

tank lust

Lust List Item #6

A second car, a dependable one. Of course, I would certainly love a tank if I could have one—it would surely come in handy during the quickly approaching zombie apocalypse. 😉

We’ve been a one car family for over 2 years now and I’m finally starting to crack. It’s not in the budget or the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t keep me from lusting after it.

powerball lust

Lust List Item #7

A winning PowerBall ticket. Doesn’t everybody want one? Just in case I need to clarify, I want to win the jackpot, not some other prize.

We haven’t bought a PowerBall ticket in like 4 or 5 months, so that decreases our odds from “1 in a zillion” to “wake the f*ck up!” Oh well, maybe we’ll buy one sometime soon and get lucky…or not.

What have you been lusting after?

  1. I would love to have a new car and a few different DVD seasons of my favorite shows and I’m always looking for books. Also, I’d love to go “do I buy the book I want or get my hair trimmed. Oh wait, I’ll do both!” And a new living room set. (I feel kind of greedy because I could go on!) Eventually I know I’ll get those things.

  2. I mostly just want my own home and a decent camera. Then I’m set. I can’t say I want to own any dvds though. I just can’t bring myself to watch something more than once unless it’s really good. These days I’m so focused on being productive that I barely watch any tv. I guess more travel would be pretty awesome too.

  3. A maid. I lust for a maid or housekeeper or whatever is politically correct to call them. Pools actually suck. My sister has one. She has to pull frogs and all kinds of stuff out of it and her electric bill goes up $300 a month in the summer. It isn’t heated, just for the pump and vacuum. It’s really fun to visit her though. Just get a friend with a pool. A red washer would be sweet too. Do you think it would wash better if it’s colorful? I bet it would!

  4. A built in pool has always been on my wish list. People always tell me that they are so much work, and that I would never use it. I promise you, I would use that sucker every single day in the summer.

    • Don’t you hate it when people tell you what you won’t do? It drives me nuts.

I’m right there with you, but I would be using it all year long for at least 3 hours a day. Plus, I’d get my husband to do all the work for me and trade it for something he hates to do. :-)

I hope you get your pool one day, Cathie.

  5. I was so hoping you were going to say you wanted a storm trooper uniform! :p The boy and I watched some of that Walking Dead…he loved it but I got perturbed. It happens easily. I’m not for that gore stuff. Really hoping the impending apocalypse doesn’t happen.
