Notes: What a long week, buying a house is exhausting. We were able to save around $600 this paycheck, so that’s exciting for me. Paying for the appraisal took a large chunk away from what I was hoping to save.
I usually put all of our saving and investing in the pretty purple color, but I’m going to use purple just for saving and the new orange color for retirement and investments from now on.
Have a great weekend everybody!
How did your budgeting/spending go this week?
Yes, buying a house is exhausting, but in a good way! Congrats on your savings.
Thanks Kim.

Saving $600 from a single paycheck is great. Nice job not dining out this week. Now you just gotta tackle that nasty smoking habit 😉

This isn’t our typical spending, we’re staying with my parents while we wait to close on our first house. I’m trying to take advantage and save lots of money.
I wish it was this great all the time.

Thanks Laura, it’s so much easier to save money when we’re not paying rent.
