Notes:
We sure haven’t saved much from this paycheck. :-( Most of our left-over money from this week will go towards our Rent & Bills next week, as well as getting our windshield fixed. Stupid trucks carrying stupid flying rocks.

I can’t believe we spent so much money on groceries this week, I used to do so much better. Apparently, I’ve gotten lazy about saving money on groceries—this is an expensive bad habit.

Ooooh, and there’s the $50.00 that you guys voted for me to send to my Roth IRA, thanks again. :-) That appears to be the only responsible thing I’ve done with this paycheck. I’ve just been all scatter-brained since returning from vacation, I just need to get back into my groove.

How did your budget/spending go this week?

  1. How can you stand to see how much cigarettes are costing you?? They’re 67% of what you spend on *food* in a week. Although maybe you buy in bulk and that will last you a month or something?

    • It really does suck wasting so much money on cigarettes. I’m always thinking, “Wow, we could save a few thousand bucks a year, if we’d just quit.” My husband smokes too, so I have to get him to quit with me. We do buy our cigarettes in Oregon, that saves us probably about $90+ each month. One day…
