Notes:
I love this pay period so far! I can’t believe we saved over 180 bucks this time, hopefully I’ll be able to stay this focused and disciplined for the rest of the year. It helps that I didn’t really get out much, but some of that is on purpose to reduce spending.

I haven’t saved 50% of the amount over our root income for a very long time, it feels good. It would be awesome if we have some money left over at the end of next week so that I can save some more. Fun, fun, fun! :-)

How did your budgeting/spending go this week?

  1. hi. I just landed on your blog so I haven’t read historical posts but have you tallied how much you spend annually on booze and smokes? For a lot of people these 2 are a big expense and while neither are easy to eliminate, they offer a great opportunity to reduce spending while at the same time improving health.

    • The whiskey is suppossed to last 2 weeks.
The cigarettes are for 2 people with the intention of lasting 2 weeks as well.

You’re right about them being large expenses for a lot of people and being bad health choices. :-)
